Privacy policy

Nothing. This website has no contact form, no booking system, no account area and no payment processing. There is nowhere on it to enter your details, so none are collected or stored.

This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, no video embed and no chat widget, so nothing here is tracking you around the internet.

The one thing on this site that is not ours is the map on our contact page, which comes from Google. See below.

Our contact page shows a Google map of the area we cover, and it loads from Google when you open that page. When it does, Google receives your IP address and information about your browser, and may set its own cookies in your browser. That happens under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours.

We do not receive any of that. We are not told who looked at the map, and we get no report, no statistics and no personal information back from Google about it. The map is there to show the area we work in, nothing else, and the towns we cover are listed on the same page as plain text if you would rather not use it.

No other page on this site loads anything from Google or from anyone else.

Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, which typically include the IP address of the device making a request, the page requested and the time. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, are not used to build any profile of you, and are not connected to anything else.

When you ring Midlands Roofing we will discuss your roof, and if you go ahead with work we will keep the details needed to carry it out, invoice it and honour the workmanship warranty. That information is kept for as long as the warranty runs and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone except where we need a supplier or a subcontractor to complete your job.

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Ring us on 07735 424741 and we will deal with it.

If this website ever gains a form, analytics or an embedded map, this page will be updated before that change goes live, because each of those would mean information being collected where none is today.
